EnenKio

The Kingdom of EnenKio is a separatist claim of the Marshall Islands claiming as territory Wake Atoll, an unincorporated area of the United States. EnenKio seeks to be recognized as the sovereign state of Micronesia, north of the Marshall Islands. EnenKio is the name in marshallais of the atoll, the name is also written Enen-kio, which means the "island with the orange flower".
History
The kingdom of EnenKio is proclaimed in 1994 by Murjel Hermios. After his death in December 1998, his brother Remios claims the title of Iroijlaplap. The claims are based on a so-called Marshallian oral law according to which the first inhabitants or their descendants choose a kingdom for their new territory.
On 23 April 1998 the Marshall Islands government issued Circular Note 01-98, which vigorously denied the Kingdom of EnenKio and the Dominion of Melchizedek's claims:
The Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands condemns the claims and activities asserted by representatives of the "Kingdom of EnenKio" and the "Dominion of Melchizedek". The representatives making claims of separate sovereignty are not citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands and have no right to make claims on behalf of Marshallese landowners. Furthermore, these representatives are making fraudulent assertions that violate the Republic of the Marshall Islands' constitution. The area of land and ocean which the "Kingdom of EnenKio" asserts as a sovereign nation separate from the Marshall Islands and the area of land and ocean which the "Dominion of Melchizedek" is asserting control over are areas within the geographical and political boundaries of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands discourages all independent sovereign nations having diplomatic relations with the Republic from acknowledging any fraudulent claims made by representatives of the "Kingdom of EnenKio" and the "Dominion of Melchizedek".
— Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of the Marshall Islands

The inventors and representatives are about the same as those of the Melchizedek dominion, another claim to Marshall Islands territory. Similarly, these people also claim Poyais, a fictitious state in the Caribbean, claimed in the nineteenth century in Europe by Gregor MacGregor, impostor who called himself general of the wars of independence in South America.

As traditional laws no longer have relevance, citizenship may be obtained through membership in an "independent private defense group" with an entry fee ranging from $ 500 to $ 10,000. Just like the Melchizedek dominion, EnenKio is considered a scam by Quatloos.com4, which the Marshall Islands Journal takes over.

According to a Network Solutions survey, the domain name "enenkio.org", which was used to promote the claims, was secured by the Japanese company GMO Internet on June 6, 20115. But on December 5, 2011, it led to a dating site. Japanese.
